The Holešov strategic industrial zone has been very popular with investors in recent months. This confirms the words of the current chairman of the board of Industry Servis ZK Radovan Macháček, according to whom the Zone will be fully occupied within a few years and a competitive battle will eventually arise between investors. The last significant addition, which started new construction here at the end of 2023, is the LUKROM company.

"The entry of LUKROM into the Holešov Strategic Industrial Zone represents an important step for the future development of our region. This investment will strengthen our industrial infrastructure and can bring innovation to the industrial sector," said the Deputy Governor of the Zlín Region, Lubomír Traub, who manages the Holešov industrial zone.

Radovan Macháček, chairman of the board of directors of Industry Servis ZK, which is the administrator of the Holešov Zone, also commented on LUKROM's entry into the Holešov Zone: "I am glad that we managed to secure another large investor for the Holešov Zone. I want the big investors to be a kind of "heart of the Zone". Our goal is to find partners who will place investments with high added value here. This is what LUKROM clearly is. The Holešov zone is also the only one that still offers investors enough free space and is therefore suitable for companies of various sizes."

Parent company LUKROM, spol. s. r. o., was established in 1991 and originally focused on trading in agricultural commodities. Over the years, however, it has developed into a company that provides comprehensive services to the agricultural public.

LUKROM consists of a total of six divisions. The divisions of agricultural commodities and fodder and the division of agricultural technology have the largest share of sales. The agricultural commodities and feed division produces over 95,000 tons of feed mixtures annually, which it then offers to other agricultural enterprises. As part of the agricultural machinery division, the company deals primarily with the sale and service of agricultural machinery of many well-known brands, such as JCB, HORSCH, JOHN DEERE and others.
