(14.12.2018) Today, at 10 am, the foundation stone of the new fire station was laid down in Holešov industrial zone in the Kroměříž Region. This ceremony started the construction of the new fire station.

The old fire brigade station is situated in the town of Holešov. However, due to the increased number of fire fighters and technicians the building is no longer adequate. That is why it was decided to build a new modern station. The new building should be completed by the end of 2019.

The project cost of the station was originally 62 million Czech crowns, but thanks to tender proceedings it was reduced down to 55 million Czech crowns. Less than 15 million of this cost will be covered by a European subsidy and 5 million will come from the Zlín Region, which has previously transferred the land in the zone for free.

The ceremony was attended by several important guests, such as the Deputy Chief Executive of the Czech Fire Brigade for Economy Brig. Gen. Mgr. Bc. Slavomír Bell MSc., the Governor of the Zlín Region Jiří Čunek, Holešov Mayor Mgr. Rudolf Seifert, Roman Michlíček from První KEY STAV and many others. These guests together with the Head of HZS, regional headquarters of the Zlín Region colonel Ing. Víte Rušar started the ceremony and symbolically knocked on the foundation stone.
